Dead shall rise – Chapter 3 page 1

So... it turns out shooting one zombie cop didn’t exactly fix Ran’s night.

Chapter three opens right where the chaos left off, with the hospital rapidly shifting from “already terrible” to “actively becoming a nightmare.” I really wanted this page to feel like that immediate aftermath moment-- the split second where nobody has time to process what just happened because things are already getting worse.

Ran’s in rough shape, missing a hand, running on adrenaline, and now stuck watching the consequences of chapter two spiral outward in real time. Meanwhile, A’isha and ’Zug are getting their first real chance to show how they operate under pressure, which felt important. This is less about big heroics and more about people realizing the situation is collapsing and reacting fast.

And because Ran’s life apparently runs on spite and bad luck, her night is still nowhere near over.
