Panel 1:
Ran (Narration): My client said she had gone to the police on multiple occasions.
Ran (Narration): Why'd they finally look into her brother's disappearance now?

Panel 2:
Ran (Narration): What am I missing?
Ran (Narration): A'isha and 'Zug are good cops, they just have their hands tied by protocol and red tape.
Ran (Narration): It's easy to miss something you're looking for if your hands are tied.

Panel 3:
Ran (Narration): Some people like it if you tie them up--
Ran (Narration): --but that's a different story.

Panel 4:
Ran (Narration): Now, let's see what this guy was up to and why he might go missing.
Ran (Narration): What was that about the neighbors?
Ran (Narration): Did everyone who lives in the building disappear?

Panel 5:
Ran (Narration): Why does it feel like this is what everyone was missing?

Not much will crossover between Maho Noir and Zombie Roomie, my first comic for those unaware. But the coffee shop Fivebucks Coffee is universal in my comics. Although, the branding is entirely different as Abe Lincoln isn't culturally relevant to the world that Maho Noir exists in.

After this comic was produced, I decided to use the same branding for Zombie Roomie and Dam It! for the Fivebucks Coffee shops in those comics, too. As they now take place in Montreal, so having Abe on the logo like it was in the ZR legacy timeline wasn't something that made any sense.
